What this site is

A description of an iOS application under development, and a form for joining its waitlist. Nothing here is a contract to supply the app, and features described may change or be cut before release — that is the nature of describing something that is still being built.

Not medical or dietary advice

Everything on this site is general information. It is not medical advice, not dietary advice, and not a substitute for a qualified professional. Do not make decisions about medication, a medical condition, or the treatment of an eating disorder on the basis of anything written here.

The waitlist

Joining places you on a list to be told when the app is available. It is not a purchase, it does not reserve anything, and it can be cancelled by emailing hello@plateknow.com. Any early-access arrangement offered to the list is offered at our discretion and is not a guarantee.

Accuracy of what is written here

The explanatory pages describe technology that is changing quickly, and each carries the date it was last checked. Where a page states our engineering judgment rather than a published finding, it says so on the page.
